Manufacturing Engineer
Saris Cycling Group is a Madison, WI based company known for developing innovative, well-designed racks and performance training products under the Saris and CycleOps brands for customers worldwide. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Madison, WI team. Duties include: • Design, manufacture, install, qualify, maintain, audit and update the process flow (P-flow) and all controlling documentation. • Responsible for the production line. • Act as a change agent through direct involvement in processes. • Routings for manufactured items. • Initiate Corrective Actions and Engineering Change Notices. • Equipment Justifications. • Tooling calibrations. • New Product Development • Participates in design reviews to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability. • Labor/production cost estimates for new product developments. • Evaluate internal manufacturing vs. external contract manufacturing. • Develop and review SOP's. • BOM verification. PFEMA and input to the DFMEA. • Test and Assembly Fixture Definition. • Drawing sign off (MFG Items). • New Product Launch execution. • Work closely with Production Supervisor and the manufacturing organization on a day to day. basis to coordinate production activity in the fabrication department. • Responsible for the Saris generated manufacturing fixtures installed at suppliers. • Develops necessary process or material specification documentation and assists in the training of manufacturing operators. • Examines and suggests improvements for existing tooling, process equipment, controls, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc. • Supports the management of company suppliers and performs failure analysis and corrective action responses for non-conforming product. • Develops feasibility studies and cost justifications relating to the procurement of special equipment/machines/controls, and provides R.O.I. and cost reduction support data. • Actively participates in the lean manufacturing initiatives, monitoring production quality indicators and initiating improvement methods. • Assist in the development and maintenance of Vendor Certification/Quality assurance program. • Performs other duties when required or requested.

Software Engineer
We are seeking a Software Engineer who will take responsibility for executing Software and Firmware Development according to end user definitions established by Product Management. He/she will work under the guidance of the Senior Software Engineer and work directly on various Project (i.e. Hardware) teams as the internal point person and/or direct programming resource.Direct responsibilities include design, development, testing, and debugging of software, firmware and mobile applications. Additional efforts are required to support firmware testing and debugging, customer service support and production utilities to improve profitability. The Software Engineer will also work with the Senior Software Engineer and Product Management to ensure that all components of the hardware and software product ecosystem function seamlessly together.
